Nelly Arrested for Drug Possession
Rapper and actor held in Maryland Heights
St. Louis native Nelly was arrested early Wednesday morning in Maryland Heights, Missouri, for drug possession. The 49-year-old rapper and actor was held by police and then released.
According to an arrest report, Nelly was found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.
Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes, was arrested at approximately 4:45 a.m. local time. He was released after posting bond.
Nelly is scheduled to appear in court on March 14.
