Power Outages Affect Thousands in Spokane Area

Over 5,000 Without Power in Millwood

On Wednesday, a power outage affected over 5,000 people in the Millwood neighborhood of Spokane, Washington. The outage was caused by a downed power line, and Avista crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible.

The outage has affected homes and businesses in the area, and some traffic signals are also out.

In addition to the outage in Millwood, there are also power outages affecting around 833 Avista customers in Spokane Valley.

Despite the power outages, the Friends of Manito will be holding their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 7th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Manito Park.
