Island Boys: The Rise and Arrest of Franky and Alex Venegas
From Viral Fame to Criminal Charges
The Island Boys, Franky and Alex Venegas, gained overnight fame with their viral music videos. Now, one of the brothers has been arrested on domestic violence charges.
Franky Venegas, known as Kodiyakredd, was arrested in Pompano Beach, Florida on May 6, 2023. According to an arrest report, Venegas allegedly slapped his girlfriend on the right side of her face with an open hand.
The Broward Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest. Venegas was charged with simple battery and has since been released on bond.
