Early Life and Career
Danilo Hondo was born on January 4, 1974, in Guben, Germany. He turned professional in 1997 with Agro Adler and went on to win over 60 races, predominantly in sprints.
German National Champion
Hondo's most notable achievement was winning the German National Road Race in 2002. He also represented Germany in several major international competitions, including the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Coaching Career
After retiring from racing in 2014, Hondo became an elite national coach for the Swiss Cycling Federation. However, his tenure has come to an abrupt end.
